... I have been denied 3 times since it was approved. This last time I got so mad that I told the doctor I was going to get a lawyer and also go to the newspaper for fight them. The cost of a transplant is $500,000 plus $30,000 a year in meds. My doctor told the insurance what I said and are now rethinking the denial. Now they just want a viral count and it looks positive. Anyone else with the same problems?
Papa Baldy !Please make sure your Dr submitted all the information (lab tests) they need. I had been denied 3 times, even I have cirrhosis Liver, before they approved it. At last I found out that My Dr's Assistant did not submit all the information the insurance needed.
Now , I have medicine and ready to take next week. Good luck to you.
