It always surprises me when someone recommends an increase of this med for pain when the research shows that 60 mg is the highest dose recommended for pain. Anything higher is no more effective than 60mgs per the manufacturer's and outside research.
I was on it for a time and it did not help with my lombar pain for long either and non-manufacturer research has shown that this med is only effect for pain for about 50% of the people who take it. You may have to look into something else.
In my experience, Cymbalta helped with nerve pain, nerve damage, nerve inflammation etc,,, but did not work alone. I have noticed that since I stopped taking Cymbalta a month ago, my nerve pain has increased some, but not as much
as I thought it would. I was always

than others with pain & usually if it is due to nerve pain, but I am no
