John; This should be okay and I did look to make sure there was no Tylenol or ibuprofen in it already these combination ones always check that it is not already in there. If you don't have this at home yet when you go to the pharmacy talk to the pharmacist And make sure this is the one that would be the best and yes also on the Tylenol ask which would be the best and what dose. here are the directions but not knowing his size I always start with the lower dose and if he is still having problems say an hour or so give him the second teaspoonful. Thanks for asking. ALSO IF THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A WHILE YOU SHOULD GET HIM IN TO SEE THE DOCTOR GIVE IT 3 DAYS OR SO ANYWAY UNLESS THE FEVER GOES UP TO HIGH.
