56 yr male. Hips -2.8 Spine -3.9! On 2nd dose Fosamax. Fear it will not work or be too slow. 142#?

You have to be at -4.5 I believe to qualify for Forteo. I am on it because Actonel, Miacaltcin etc.. didn't help me, but I have extenuating circumstances. What does you doctor say? How long have you given Fosamx a try? It does take time you know. Is #142 the times you've taken it? Why are you on it? From steriod use or gene history? By the way I was on the others ofr 17 years & have had this since my 30's & now 64, Forteo is the last step my friend.
