He says he is talking to people who are dead and they Are telling him things. It is hard to tell if it is the alcohol or the encephalopathy . Can anyone tell me how long he will live ?

The last time his billibruin was check it was at a 4.4 INR was 1.2, Albumin is 4.4 and and creatine is 1.37- are those levels high ?
Actually he is fairly healthy for a heavy drinker. His bilirubin is almost twice the maximum recommended level (his eyes and under his eyelids will be distinctly yellow and he may look a bit tanned) his INR is only slightly elevated; creatinine levels and therefore kidney function are normal.
He would not have been suffering from brain damage from alcoholic encephalopathy but direct alcohol poisoning. He may have also drunk someones moonshine with too much methanol in it which causes brain damage, blindness and death..
If he gave up drinking now I would expect 10 to 15 years. He just is not as unhealthy as he deserves to be.
