While I am satisfied that the location and pain symptoms identify the Achilles tendon,my doctor says I may be right but he has ordered an echo leg scan"for blood clots".That appointment is several days away. Meanwhile ,I hobble about with some pain and fear of permanent injury.Should I be seeking more immediate diagnosis and treatment?
I have Achilles damage in both. I took the meds on April 17, 2009. I have been damaged, living in pain ever since. The Achilles did not start the first few months but the headaches, neuorpathy, and more did... then after a few months the achilles hit. They have not FULLY torn but are very painful. It hurts to walk all the time. I have bumps there and have to walk like a 2 year old on stairs hitting the same step with both feet-one at a time. I just had my 4th year anniversary, and still have the same symptoms. Many do and some get better. If just your Achilles are injured, you are so very, very lucky. No answer if it will or will not ever repair but time but I pray for you that ONLY this side effect shows over time as things can pop up over a year or a bit more from these meds. Good luck.
