And today she says her front butt (vagina) hurts whatt could it be?
That sounds exactly like a urinary tract infection. She may feel like she has to pee really bad and when she goes it is just a few drops. It can feel painful and may feel "hot" when she pees. She may have pain low in her abdomen right above the pubic bone. Pain and irritation keeps a person from emptying the bladder fully and this causes frequent urination. Poor baby! This is very uncomfortable and even painful! I had my first UTI when I was two and have been prone to them all my life. I used to get them after playing in the sand box (I would get sand around my vulva), swimming in the swimming pool and I had a tendency to be too "busy" to interrupt my play to go in to pee so I would "hold it" long periods of time which can lead to infection. If she doesnt drink enough water, she can get dehydrated which can make her pee less and the urine is more concentrated and this can lead to infection. She needs to see the pediatrician today (or take her to Urgent Care or if there is no Urgent Care, take her to the ER-it isnt really an emergency unless she is having back pain and blood in her urine but she needs to be seen asap because it is just terribly uncomfortable so if you can get a hold of the pediatrician or take her to Urgent Care, it will be less expensive and less time consuming than the ER) She just needs antibiotics for the infection and make her drink water or if she wont drink water, give her 50/50 water and juice-apple. white grape or cranberry-something not so acidic. Make sure that when she wipes after urinating that she learns to wipe from front to back so she doesnt drag bacteria forward toward her urinary opening. Try to be sure she takes frequent bathroom breaks so this doesnt happen again.
