... something feels very "off" in my brain when my blood sugar levels drop. I feel confused and I know that I'm low but my tester will say that I'm 69 yet I feel closer to 30. Has anyone experienced this? My intuition tells me it's the Humalog
I get this every so often and when I do I was taught to treat the symptoms not the numbers, and of course I have been wrong a few times but I have also been right several times. With the way meters are calibrated today I trust my body more than the meter. And, when nothing is going on with the body that is when I will go with what the meter is telling me. The person who taught me told me that you always treat the low symptoms because it's easy to treat a high if your wrong. You may also want to have some blood work done if this gets persistence and find out if something else is going on. Hope this helps
