... needed but because of the swelling it could not be done. I was told to return for surgery an never did. To this day when i blow my nose, that eye crosses and i have to push on it which makes my nose pop (sinus) but thats the only way to get it uncrossed. My question is what was injured that needs operated on and whats the chances of loosing sight in that eye?
Although this will cost extra, seek a couple of opinions. My boyfriend had an eye socket break when he first joined the army and he was told many time that he may lose his eye sight if they immediately operated and saw both military and regular eye surgeons. They finally got him fixed at Walter Reed Hospital, but, he was nervous because so many surgeons wouldn't attempt it. He finally saw a military doc who put his mind at ease and fixed it. Good Luck.
