on my 1st month of pregnancy, I swallowed 2 cytotec and inserted 1 then do it again on the 2nd day. nothing happened so i try different meds for the next 2 months.. I experienced spotting but it stopped. now I am almost 4 months pregnant (still not sure)..i can feel that the baby is moving. what will happened if I try again to take cytotec?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. If I had my way you wouldn't have taken it in the first place. Its not a safe drug to use except under the docs guidance. You need to see a dr, its too late for medicine for an abortion, and you most likely have damaged the baby with the cytotec. He's the only one who can tell for sure if the baby is ok. Now that you feel the baby moving, would you still want to get rid of it? Adoption is a good alternative,, if the baby is ok.
Everything kaismama said and:
This is a terrible situation. As soon as Cytotec failed on the first attempt you should have sought a regular surgical procedure at the local or nearby town/city Womens Health Centre or arranged by your doctor. At this stage, further attempts at chemical abortion are potentially very dangerous. You could die.
From the Cytotec product information found here: https://www.drugs.com/pro/cytotec.html
Cytotec (MISOPROSTOL) ADMINISTRATION TO WOMEN WHO ARE PREGNANT CAN CAUSE BIRTH DEFECTS, ABORTION, OR PREMATURE BIRTH. UTERINE RUPTURE HAS BEEN REPORTED WHEN Cytotec WAS ADMINISTERED IN PREGNANT WOMEN TO INDUCE LABOR OR TO INDUCE ABORTION BEYOND THE EIGHTH WEEK OF PREGNANCY "
They put it in bold print for a very good reason.
I wish you the very best in this situation. You have to go to the health centre or doctor anyway. If its Women's Health get an appointment to see a counsellor straight away. If it is the local medical clinic, they often have racks of brochures or a notice board with useful numbers to call (ask the receptionist discretely or phone and ask the receptionist for some information if available).
Take care please, Steve.
