I’ve been taking 2mg a day for a couple years, one dose at night. I decided I don’t want to take it anymore so I quit. A few days ago. What are some things that helped keep you out of your own head???
I always start out by responding with, everybody is different. If you have 100% made up your mind to be done... I’ll get right to it because the best way to “keep you out of your own head”, is to put your phone/computer away and stop reading blogs like these. They can really psych a person out because you never let your mind stop thinking about it. You need to hydrate, take a multi-vitamin, and eat healthy food. No processed garbage. Again, just give your body something good to work with, it’s been through a lot already. Break your routine. Do something you’ve never done.
The vitamin C was huge when I jumped off 1mg. I used sodium ascorbate and dosed about 3 to 5 grams every 3 hours and it made such a difference. Definitely recommend vitamin C. I barely had any physical symptoms except sleep issues, which is still an issue now at day 20. Without Ambien and Valium I barely get any sleep but only take them a few times a week and try to let my body just do it's thing.
