I was only on the pill for about 2 weeks and I had sex for the first time. He pulled out before he came and was wearing a condom. I had just went off my period that day. I went home for break and only bled about 2-3 days. And it was almost a brown color. I haven't had my period since and my breasts have doubled in size, I'm tired all the time, and have gained weight. Are these normal symptoms of going on the pill for the first time? I'm freaking out that I could be pregnant. It was only one time.
If you're taking your pills correctly you have less than a 1 % chance of pregnancy. You would get your period on the week of sugar pills. You do not need any other birth control when on the pill. It stops ovulation. No egg means no Baby.
Its not unusual for your period to be lighter and shorter. To say it was only one time is goofy. It only takes one time, if you weren't protected. I suspect what you have is a bad case of not trusting you're birth control and you are looking for signs. The brown is old blood. You're having a period. You aren't pregnant. Your breasts can't be twice the size. That doesn't happen.
