i have anxiety and depression and after taking 3 on a morning the following morning i still have anxiety,,, 2 docs have given different advice as to how to take them... mornin or night please anyone help...
It doesn't really matter when you take the venlafaxine as long as you take at the same time every day. It takes upwards of a month for this medication to really start working. You won't get results immediately and taking extra won't help. If the venlafaxine makes you sleepy, take at night. If not, take in the morning. Really whatever time of day is the easiest for you to remember to take it will be fine. You may experience some side effects when you first start taking as prescribed, but these generally subside the first couple of weeks. Be patient and follow the prescription, you'll be feeling better soon.
Morning happidayz: This is normal what your going through, And as Laurie said makes no difference when you take it but you have to stick with the morning or the evening..This has been a miracle medication for me. But you do have to have patience at the start because it takes awhile to kick in. Some feel side effects at first but they normally go away in a couple of weeks and also that is about the time you start to notice some difference but to reach the full blood level of this medication is really more like 6 weeks. But you well notice some benefits prior to that..Best of luck and feel free to ask if any problems.
