Tried smaller doses but they aren't working for me, will the a amount be okay for me?
I am used to diazepam though, so that probably won't affect it. No eaten today
I think it depends on how long you want to sleep. Those doses would knock me out for a week. Is that what your dr has prescribed? Personally I don't feel Ambien is a very good drug for sleep. I never had much luck with it, so I can understand your frustration with it. I take a relatively new drug called Belsomra. I take 5mg of that and 4mg of Valium at bedtime and it puts me right to sleep. I think you should be discussing all this with your dr anyway. Best of luck and I wish you well. I know what it's like going without sleep.
Cwilmore89; I do agree with Buck, It is very hard when we can't sleep but you should double check with your doctor before you take 30mg of Zolpidem and even more so if you have been told to take 25mg of Diazepam. For most people, these doses are much too high, And above even the manufacturer's recommendations. Please call your doctor before you do this. It's always best to be safe than sorry.
Best of luck they well find something to help you sleep. But whatever is written on the prescription label you never want to go over what the directions are. Hang in there it well get better so many people go through this problem before they find something that works well. Chuck1957
It all depends on your tolerance. There is a cross tolerance to these two drugs as they both act on gaba. The drugs alone won't be dangerous but avoid alcohol and try not to be taking this nightly as your tolerance will grow and you will need more and more of the drugs to illicit the same effects. Stay safe.
