She cries until the bubbles are expelled through her bottom. Mom has stopped eating any foods that can cause gas like cabbage, Brussel sprouts, dairy products.
Mom seems to be doing everything she can for a Colicky baby. She's looked at foods that can potentially affect breast milk; so it's not like she is ignoring the issue. The parenting/baby sites are probably the best source of advice as they are dedicated to a single topic; parenting babies.
The only thing I will say is try to imagine the size of a babies stomach by looking at his or her clenched fist (they are about the same size). It really doesn't take much to fill it and a couple of uncomfortable problems can ensue for the baby when it is too full.
