The pain is almost unbearable, I am seeing a orthopedic doctor on the 22ND of this month. I am in so much pain I cannot sleep at night. How long do you think before I start to receive some relief? I can hardly walk now.
lynftc1; Really just about any shot in the knee we seem to react to. And everyone is different. If I were you I would talk to the bone doctor on the 22nd and ask that doctor if there is a better place that would not be as painful that you could get this shot if you need any more. And if he is not the doctor that has been giving you the shot take some information to that doctor so he or she can tell you where to get the shot in the future. Hope you're better by then but if the pain is too bad right now give the doctor where you got the shot at and see what over the counter medication you can take that well help with the pain from the shot. Good luck to you. Chuck1957
