I am 60 years only. I have no other abnormal condition. Earlier I had allergic rhinitis. Last week I had taken a course of cefpodoxime 200mg twice daily for 7 days. I had mild fever earlier which then disappeared. But the patch is still there. What is to be done about the white patch? There is some pain while swallowing and throat does not feel normal. There is no prominence of lymph nodes in the neck. Could it be a viral infection or fungal infection or any other factor? Any other investigation to be done? What should I do?
