... felt it work or anything like it usually does, what do I do now? Should I take more? My panic attacks are up and down and I want the Klonopin to kick in and work. How much longer do I have to wait or should I take more?
As a person that suffers from severe panic attacks I am prescribed 2mg every six hours it takes about a half hour for Klonopin to kick so two 0.5mg you can take two more for 2mg give it about a half hour if it does not work you might want to see your doctor and switch to Xanax it kicks in faster but leaves your body faster as well.
I don't understand why you want to take more. Klonopin is a long acting benzodiazepine who take a long time before kicking... In fact, that's why it's use as a drug to prevent panic attack and not stop them when a panic attack is already started...
A better option will be Xanax who is a fast acting benzodiazepine with a short half-life... but even then, once a panic attack start, it's not possible to stop it, just let it go... chances are that the time you take a Klonopin or a Xanax, the panic attack will be over since a panic attack usually last 20-30 minutes... Panic attacks are different than constant anxiety who is more in the general anxiety category...
