I have taken 10mg amitriptyline for 6 weeks and advised my doctor that there was no improvement or change, just tired, dry mouth and slight vision difficulties.
My dosage has been raised to 20mg amitriptylineand now I find it difficult to wake up and go to work (architectural design, surveys meetings and drawings)) on time and need to power nap in the afternoon
I have dry mouth, headaches, dizziness and blurred vision.
this is in addition to 75mg levothyroxine taken daily.
I am a 64 year old otherwise fit male.
The side affects are greater than my hot feet condition.
I am inclined to stop taking them as when I missed Wednesday night I was without these side affects.
Any comments/advice. Thanks
