I'd suggest that only take the hydrocodone when needed because in any case tylonol is just not good for you in general. If I were in your case if you need a break through pain medication I'd try & get one without Tylonol like maybe 5mg immediate release oxycodone because there is no Tylonol in them. There are forms of oxy with tylonol so if you do ask for it be sure to specify the regular 5mg tabs. Good luck.

There is also Vicoprofen. That is one of the medications that I take. It is prescribed starting at 7.5 mg hydrocodone with 200mg Ibruprofen
