... When my doctors prescribed me the pills she told me to start taking it the day of, which happened to be two weeks into my cycle already. I went ahead and started. And now, two weeks into my birth control I'm having my period (the time I usually have it when I wasn't on birth control). It's pretty heavy like my normal periods. I haven't been late or missed any pills. Can I still have unprotected sex now and during the placebo week if I already had my period this month?
This can happen when you start it not working with your cycle. Yes, just keep taking your pills, you are protected and will probably have some withdrawal bleeding when you are on the placebo week. In a few months your body will get into rhythm with the pills and you'll straighten out.
