He prescribed 25 mg fentanyl patch and 2 ten mg hydro.I was in terrible pain,now I can only get the patch they told me I had a problem with pills.was what I done so terrible I could have lied,so what are my options .Thanks

It is pretty much. You have a contract where you can pick up "x" number (usually a months worth). If you run out early and go back to get your new script early you really are taking a risk. If they took the pills away for non-compliance, the you may have to live with it for a while. I'm in Australia and while on pain medication I had to be totally compliant as I was subject to random drug checks (urine and blood) and cancelation of my authority to get pain medication was the punishment for breaches.
Basically the good old days of just asking are gone due to misuse and everything is really tightly regulated now.
PS. What did you do to make this happen?
yES JUST AS Stephen has said but the doctors are under a lot of pressure to reduce the use of any type of opiates due to the government regulations now it's a bunch of bull but not much we can do about it. You can just try and talk with the doctor again. But it is making it very hard on all of us that require medications. good luck
