I was on 10 mgs for 17 days now 4 days on 15 mgs no help in my depression Anxiety or ptsd is there still a chance it will work I'm so desparate
I sure empathize with you. I did Lexapro, 10mg for about a month or so with no improvement so I upped it to 20mg and after a couple of weeks or so I experienced and inability to urinate. I never had this happen before and so I did some research on side effects and somewhere it said this could happen. I went back to 10mg and then weaned myself off of it. I never had that happen before and it has never happened since. That will be my last try on antidepressants after having tried most all of them over the years and to no avail. I'm not willing to start again with a bunch of combinations to see if any of them work. There is a well documented percent of people who just don't get any benefits from those meds. I feel desperate sometimes too. It's hard to get the help you need sometimes. I hope I'm not bringing you down. Maybe you will eventually find something to help you. It you do it will take sometimes a lot of trial and error. I wish you the best and I hope you get the help you need.
