How much 20mg Adderall (not the XR) can a 5’3 180-190lb female take?
This is a broad question but given my own experience with ADD medications and clients,
At 60mg it is considered high but some people I’ve seen at 100mg, due to worse or more severe ADD or Narcolepsy.
I’m not going to pry but if a patient has never been that high before the situation would most likely involve an ER visit.
The highest I take is 50 mg extended release in Mydayis which is the same as Adderall. The doctor prescribed two 10 mg IR per day after the extended release wore off. So I’m assuming 70 mg should be the highest you can take but you need to monitor your blood pressure closely. If you take too low of a dosage you will just have the come down side effects. So you have to find the happy medium of not too high of a dosage or too low.
They say for ADHD 60MG Instant Release is 60mg by doc Rx, but I know of people taking 250+mg a day. Obviously abusing them, but its almost impossible to OD unless to mix with other drugs or take more than 5000mg a day.
