I respectfully beg to differ on the benzodiazepine drugs. They do test for those because I, personally, have had employers test for them. Some benzos can be detected in urine a very long time, in some cases 6-8 weeks. Most opioids are no longer detectable after a week-usually on average 3-5 days but give it a week to be certain. If you have a prescription for these, unless you drive or are subject to DOT guidelines, you shouldnt have any trouble returning to work even on these medications. Employers look for illegal use and if you have a prescription, then that is a legal use and they wont penalize you for this. The only exception is if you drive for a living. You cant take these drugs if you drive a company vehicle. Many muscle relaxants are not benzos though and they likely wont be tested for. It just depends which one you are taking
