What is the best time to take 5-HTP; morning, noon, or night time for best results?
5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) is a dietary supplement made from the seeds of the African plant Griffonia simplicifolia. It has been used in alternative medicine as a possibly effective aid in treating depression, anxiety or fibromyalgia.
5-HTP can be taken with or without food. It does not matter what time of day you take the medicine but it's probably best taken at the same time each day - so chose a time of day that works best for you.
