Hi angie. Every where I’ve read it says that under 18 Lyrica should not be prescribed. Personally I would never advise anyone to take Lyrica. I was taking Lyrica for 7-8 years and I ended up having to slowly taper off because of the many horrible side effects. You can google it and read all the side effects. Also tapering off is a nightmare. You can research about that too. They even have a name for tapering now and it’s called ‘Discontinuation Syndrome’. Please do all the research you can find before making your decision about Lyrica. Take care and I wish you the best. Cindy
