I am having trouble being able to sleep at night because I can not breath right when I go to sleep I wake up choking on fleum in my throat and can not lay flat in bed I have to set upright to be able to breath. What over the counter medicine can I take for congestion and what prescribtion drugs can I take?
You should probably go into the doctors to make sure that what you have is just the flu. Also that way they can give you medication that will not affected your Warfarin.
The other idea is if you do not want to spend the $ to go to the dr. You can go to your Pharmacist & let them know about the fact that you are taking Warfarin & they can recommend what OTC medication would be safe for you to take.
