For a year now, my daughter has seen many doctors and had many testing for a relentless ache in her lower back and left leg... from back to ankle. Her birthday is this weekend and she doesn't want to do anything cause her leg hurts so bad. It keeps her awake at night and cries often. All I want to do is take the pain away. Please help.

Has anyone done an mri of her lower back? I spent my childhood with leg pain no one could do anything about. I remember crying with the pain. Bedtime was the worst. My Dad would rub my legs with bengay. I forced myself to do things because I didn't want to miss out, but I suffered for that. So I feel for her. Now my lower back has some problems and its causing another kind of pain in one leg. The pain in my childhood was childhood fibromyalgia but then no one even thought of such a thing.
