I have a 12 month nalrexone implant, does it block the effect of tramadol?

It blocks some of the effect but not all. It will not completely reverse an overdose like it will with other opioids.

Hi, I agree with Dzoo. It will block the synthetic opiate like effects you get from Tramadol but not the SSRI effects (as far as i am aware). I am currently taking Naltrexone, & before starting it i was instructed to stop taking Tramadol. Although there are no interactions apparent (i checked on the Drugs.com interactions checker), i was told it is dangerous to take the 2 together? So i wouldn't recommend doing so.
