My 11 year old daughter has hurt her tail bone can she take an unperscribed muscle relaxer?

First of all no one should take other people's prescribed medicine. I especially would not give a child something that wasn't prescribed for them. Children's doses are very different than adult doses and you could put your child in danger. Anyway a muscle relaxer probably wouldn't take away the pain from a tailbone. They only work for muscle pain. I would give her ibuprofen for the pain and if that doesn't work call her pediatrician. I hope she feels better soon.
