The active ingredient in Midol is Naproxen a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Naproxen helps with pain and inflammation. Aspirin is also a NSAID so not a good idea to take at the same time as Midol. If you are in need of extra pain relief try something that contains acetaminophen and even codeine for more relief. Talk to your pharmacist for more advice.
