I've only been on it a week.Some insomnia crying spurts..I know it takes like a month.But isn't going from 100 mg if zoloft to 10 mg.celexa a big drop.or no.thank you
Hi, Julia! No, the two medications are entirely different and so are the dosages. At 100mg of Zoloft you were taking a therapeutic dose, but 10mg of Celexa is the initial dose of Celexa to help reduce or eliminate side effects.
Let your doctor know you're having some problems because after a week your dose could be increased to 20mg and then again to 40mg (the maximum dose) if needed.
