I already take 2 but it doesn't work, and I'm having such a hard time. saw my neurologist yesterday and he basically told me he couldn't do anything for me but to send me to a chronic pain dr but I'm only 19 and my mom doesn't want that for me. I also have a non functioning pituitary tumor which the dr say it's not causing it but I never had a headache until this was found in 2010. I'm in so much pain and nobody will listen to me anymore Bc it's constant. :( someone help
I am with Pepper on this one and Tramadol when your on it for long periods of time, and on higher dose's It can be a real bear to get off of. But if you think you need more Call the doctor and ask him or her if you can take 3 at a time or get the extended release one Or ask them if there is something else that well work better. good luck..have a good day. Hi you shouldn't take 3 Tramadol at a time, but as long as you aren't allergic to any of these medications, you can take Paracetamol and/or Ibuprofen (unless you are asthmatic) at the same time as Tramadol to increase the analgesic effect. Maybe just check in with your doctor about doing this, but it is perfectly safe. Another idea, maybe discuss with your doctor about starting Amitriptyline (at a low dose) at night, as this has been proven to help relieve chronic pain. I used to take it for back pain.
