And be safe sine my nurse practitioner only wanted me to take it every 8 but my pain is unbearable and I don't won't my doctor to think I am taking too much I am suffering taking less she changed my off my Norco which I had a larger prescription for and less Percocet because they were stronger.
NANNYGIRL; NO YOU SHOULD CALL THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE AND TELL THEM IT IS NOT HELPING AT EVERY 8 HOURS. TAKING EVERY 6 HOURS WELL MAKE YOUR RUN OUT WAY TO FAST AND THE DOCTOR MAY JUST CUT YOU OFF Altogether. THEY ARE GETTING VERY STRICT ON ANY PAIN MEDICATION SO YOU WELL GET Your SELF IN A REAL JAM IF YOU DON'T GET THIS OK'D BY THE DOCTORS OFFICE. AND THE SOONER YOU CALL THEM THE BETTER. CHUCK1957
Chuck is absolutely right. New Laws are starting to be mandatory. My doctor is reducing my pain meds, NOT because I am ready to lower them, but because the new laws have a 100mg a day max in Georgia. The only ones getting around that is cancer patients. It will wipe out my break thru pain meds completely and possibly lower my patch. I am already reducing and am miserable. It will only get worse. Pain doc also said new law includes I have to see her monthly instead of bi-monthly, effective immediately.. For us truly sick people it is going to be a nightmare!
