So my pdoc upped my amount to 1 ml twice a day. This was not a good thing. My anxiety got so bad I was hospitalized for a month. It is 6 months later now and I am living with bad depression every day. It won't go away. I'm sorry for ever letting the doc raise my amount. I want to get off this drug but the doctor won't let me because I am feeling too much depression but none of the anti depressants helped it. Help, I am stuck. How do I get off this ativan. I think that is what is keeping me sick.
Hi Sue If there is one thing I have learned throughout my years of anxiety and depression is you can't give up. You also can't give up on medication
without talking to your doctor. These meds don't work over night, it can take
weeks or even months to get you stable. I understand how miserable you feel,
I've been there and it took over three years of trying different meds to finally
get me to a better place. I still have bad days but not "I wish I were dead
days". Often it takes more than one medication to help. Talk to your
doctor. Get a counselor. Get out of the house. Walk. Easy for me to say and very hard to do - I know that from personal experience. Start right now with a 15 minute walk. Judy
