Zinc Methionine Complex

A nutritional feed ingredient for livestock and poultry. When used as a commercial feed ingredient it must be declared as zinc methionine complex. Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) No. 57.151. International Feed Number (IFN) 6-16-293. Zinc Methionine Complex. U.S. Patent No. 4,764,633 and 5,430,164. Canada Reg. No. 990581.

Physical Description

A light brown granular powder with characteristic methionine-like odor. ZINPRO®40 weighs approximately 32 lb/cu. ft. and is packaged in 50 lb multiwall bags.

Feeding Instructions

Swine*: Add 2 lb (908 grams) per ton of complete diet.

Laying Hens, Broilers and Turkeys: Add 2 lb (908 grams) per ton of complete diet.

Dairy Cattle: Feed 9.0 grams per head daily, or 2 lb per 100 head daily.

Beef Cattle: Feed 9.0 grams per head daily, or 2 lb per 100 head daily.

Horses: Feed 9.0 grams per head daily.

Sheep*: Feed 1.0 gram per head daily, or 1 lb per 454 head daily.

Goats*: Feed 1.25 gram per head daily, or 1 lb per 360 head daily.

* Double recommended levels during periods of reduced feed intake, or high production stress.

Toxicity And Safe Handling

When used correctly, there is no toxicity hazard in the use of ZINPRO 40. Store in a clean and dry environment. Follow label directions and rotate inventory to ensure fresh product.
