Zinc Oxide 20% OintmentThis treatment applies to the following species:
Astringent-Antiseptic Topical Ointment
Active Ingredient(s): Contains zinc oxide 20% in a petrolatum, mineral oil and lanolin ointment base.
Zinc Oxide 20% Ointment Indications
A protective astringent and antiseptic ointment for topical application to aid in the management of superficial wounds and abrasions of horses, cattle, sheep and swine.
Dosage and AdministrationThoroughly cleanse and dry area of skin to be treated. Apply ointment directly to wound with spatula or first place on piece of gauze. Protect treated area to prevent licking.
Precaution(s): Store at controlled room temperature between 15° and 30°C (59°-86°F).
Keep tightly closed when not in use.
Caution(s): Avoid getting into eyes or on mucous membranes. In case of deep of puncture wounds or serious burns consult veterinarian. If redness, irritation, or swelling persists or increases, discontinue use and consult veterinarian.
Warning(s): For animal use only.
Keep out of reach of children.
