Active ingredients include: Ammonium carbonate, camphor and menthol. Other ingredients include: Canada balsam, carrageenan, licorice fluid extract, pine needle oil and sorbitol.

ZEV Indications

Horses with coughs, bronchial irritation or nasal congestion are often impossible to work or exercise in a normal fashion. This cough remedy and conditioner will help cure these irritations and allow horses to return to work sooner.

As a digestive aid, this product helps horses get the most from their feeds, assisting in overall appearance, health and performance.

ZEV Dosage And Administration

This liquid formulation can be added to feeds, or it can be administered orally.

For coughs of colds, bronchial irritation or stable cough, add 3 or 4 tablespoons to the horse's feed, two or three times per day.

Or, mix 3 or 4 tablespoons with equal parts of honey, molasses or corn syrup. This mixture is then placed well back in the horses mouth. This should be repeated two to three times per day.

Treatment should continue for one week.

For nasal congestion, add 4 tablespoons to a half pail of hot water, then place in stall or where horse can breathe vapors freely.

As a conditioner, add two or three tablespoons to feed, twice daily, for two weeks. After the first two weeks, feed twice weekly.
