- Self contained lateral flow pads

- In a protective foil pouch that is stable at room temperature

- Good for 3 years from date of manufacture

Procedure

Attention

This procedure utilizes a 200 microliter Pipetter not included in the kit, but sold separately. (catalog no. 0019)

1. Collection supplies are not included in the kit. Sample 1-2 mL into a tube with anti-clotting agent (EDTA or heparin). Remove the cassette from the foil pouch. Label each cassette with the corresponding sample identification.

2. Gently mix the sample. Using a clean pipette tip from the kit and a 200 microliter Pipetter, completely depress the plunger and submerge the pipette tip into the sample.

Gently release the plunger, which will allow the sample to be drawn into the pipette tip. The pipette tip will not be completely full. Quickly releasing the plunger may result in air being drawn into the pipette tip which can affect the accuracy of the test result.

3. Remove the dilution vial cap and transfer the sample into the dilution vial. Rinse the pipette by repeatedly drawing up and expressing its contents into the dilution vial.

Recap the dilution vial and invert several times to thoroughly mix the sample with the dilution fluid. Avoid shaking the mixture.

4. Using the Pipetter and pipette tip from the previous step, completely depress the plunger and submerge the pipette tip into the dilution mixture. Gently release the plunger to allow the diluted sample to be drawn into the pipette tip.

Express the diluted sample into the sample well of the cassette; do not overfill the cassette well and make sure that the cassette is on a level surface.

Allow the test to proceed for 20 minutes before reading the results. Do not read results after 40 minutes.

Interpretation Of Test Results

In a properly functioning test, a line will appear at the Control (C) position of the results window.

Adequate Level Is Indicated By One Line At The “c” Position.

inadequate Level Is Indicated By Two Lines; One At The “t” Position And One At The “c” Position. Irregardless Of The Line Intensity, A Faint Line At The “t” Position Should Be Interpreted As An inadequate Level Of Igg.

note

Blue dot distinguishes the 4 mg/mL cassette from the 8 mg/mL cassette.

Note

This improved procedure utilizes a 200 microliter Pipetter which is sold separately (catalog no. 0019). Each kit contains a cassette, disposable pipette tips, dilution vial and instructions.
