Each Tablet Contains A Minimum

Ammonium chloride

400 mg

in a palatable base

Dosage

The recommended dose for ammonium chloride is 20 mg/kg of body weight twice daily. This is equivalent to the following UriKare 400 dosage:

40 lb (18.2 kg)	1 Tablet Twice Daily
60 lb (27.2 kg)	1 1/2 Tablet Twice Daily
80 lb (36.4 kg)	2 Tablets Twice Daily
100 lb (45.4 kg)	2 1/2 Tablets Twice Daily

For animals smaller than 20 lbs, UriKare 200 Tablets or Powder is recommended. Administer twice daily with food. The daily dosage may vary with different diets depending on the alkalinity effects of the diet. The dosage should be adjusted to maintain the urine pH consistently between pH 6.0-6.6.

Tablets may be given whole or crushed.

Not intended for use in kittens.

UriKare 400 Tablets Indications

For use as a urinary acidifier in cats and dogs.

Warning

May cause gastric mucosal irritation. Do not administer to animals with severe liver or kidney damage or to animals exhibiting acidosis. Do not administer to animals on a special pet food diet designed to acidify the animals' urine.

Store Tightly Closed Container In A Dry Place At Temperatures Not Exceeding 35°c (95°f).
