For external use only. Do not turn cows out in freezing weather until teat dip is completely dry. Do not use with any other teat dips.

STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at room temperature. Protect from heat or freezing. Always store away from continuous artificial light or direct sunlight. AVOID FREEZING. However, freezing will not affect performance of the product provided that the frozen contents are thawed completely and agitated thoroughly before mixing.

The gold color of the mixed product fades with time. At higher temperatures the fading is more rapid. However, this will not affect the efficacy of the product.

Directions For Use

Add equal volumes of UDDERgold® base (1) and activator (2) to a clean container. Mix until the gold color is uniform throughout. Only enough product should be mixed for one milking of the herd. The average amount of product used is 7 mL per cow per milking. Always use freshly mixed, full strength UDDERgold Teat Dip. Discard any unused teat dip. Rinse dip cups and equipment with tap water after each milking.

APPLICATION:

LACTATING COWS-Before milking, wash udder and teats with tap water. Immediately after milking, dip teats up to one-half their length in UDDERgold teat dip. Allow to air dry. Do not wipe. If product in dip cup becomes visibly dirty, discard contents and refill with fresh UDDERgold teat dip. Do not turn cows out in freezing weather until teat dip is completely dry.

PRIOR TO CALVING-Approximately 10 days prior to calving, dip teats twice daily with UDDERgold teat dip.

Disposal

Unused teat dip may be flushed down the drain. Empty containers should not be reused and may be discarded following rinsing.

Consult your veterinarian or milking equipment service personnel if cow’s teats become irritated.
