Active Ingredients

Each mL of T-61^® contains 200 mg Embutramide N-[2- (m-methoxyphenyl)- 2-ethylbutyl-(1)]-γ-hydroxybutyramide which produces a strong narcotic action and concurrently paralyses the respiratory centre, 50 mg mebozonium iodide 4,4'-methylene-bis- (cyclohexyl-trimethyl-ammonium iodide) which produces a curariform paralytic action on striated skeletal and respiratory muscles and rapidly induces circulatory collapse, and 5 mg tetracaine hydrochloride, in aqueous solution with dimethylformamide as preservative.

For smooth euthanasia of dogs.

Warnings

T-61 should be handled with some caution. If by sudden movement of the animal some of the drug accidentally penetrates the operator's skin through a wound or an inadvertent puncture with the needle, the affected part of the skin must be thoroughly washed under the tap, or, if injected, squeezed out. Analeptic drugs should be considered for symptomatic therapy.

Euthanized animals should not be used for food.

Keep this, and all drugs, out of reach of children.
