For the vaccination of healthy pigs 4 weeks of age or older as an aid in the prevention of Porcine Circovirus Type 2 (PCV2) viremia and aid in the control of lymphoid depletion caused by PCV2. Efficacy was shown by challenging pigs 6 weeks following vaccination. Duration of immunity studies are in progress.

Dose

Aseptically inject 2 mL intramuscularly into pigs 4 weeks of age or older.

Suvaxyn PCV2 Caution

Store in the dark at 2° to 7°C (35° to 45°F). AVOID FREEZING. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Allergic reactions, although rare, may occur. The antidote is epinephrine.

Contains gentamicin and thimerosal as preservatives.
