For use in Swine and Turkeys
For Veterinary Use Only
For the vaccination of healthy swine and turkeys as an aid in the prevention of clinical signs caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae.
Swine Dosage
Aseptically inject 2 mL intramuscularly or subcutaneously per animal.Pigs
Vaccinate at 7 to 10 days of age or prior to weaning. Repeat with second dose 2 to 3 weeks after first vaccination.Breeding Stock
Animals held for breeding should be vaccinated at the time of selection and 3 weeks later. All breeding stock should be vaccinated semiannually.Turkey Dosage
Aseptically inject 0.5 mL per bird of up to 10 lb. in weight and 1 mL (1 cc) above 10 lb. Vaccinate subcutaneously in the back of the neck at a point midway between the bird's head and the base of the neck. Insert the needle just under the skin in a direction away from the head and toward the base of the neck. Do not inject intradermally or into the muscle tissue of the neck or into the cervical vertebrae or at the base of the head. The usual recommended age for vaccination is 8 weeks. Repeat every 3 months.Suvaxyn E (Swine and Turkey) Caution
Store between 2° and 7°C (36° and 45°F). Avoid freezing. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened. Allergic reactions, although rare, may occur. The antidote is epinephrine.This product should be stored, transported, and administered in accordance with the instructions and directions. The use of this product is subject to state laws where applicable.
This product is nonreturnable.
