ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Each liter contains: Sulfaquinoxaline 32.5 g, Pyrimethamine (2,4 diamine-5-(p-chlorophenyl)-6-ethylpyrimidine) 9.8 g.
Sulfaquinoxaline-S is a liquid antibiotic for treatment and prevention of coccidiosis. Sulfaquinoxaline and Pyrimethamine block the folate pathway in susceptible organisms.
Sulfaquinoxaline-S Indications
As an aid in the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in chickens and turkeys. Sulfaquinoxaline-S is used in the prevention of coccidiosis and also protects the non-affected chicken and turkeys in hen-houses showing symptoms of coccidiosis.
Sulfaquinoxaline-S Dosage And Administration
Prevention - When birds are moved to an area where they will be more susceptible to contact the diseases, mix 30 mL of Sulfaquinoxaline-S with 20 L of drinking water. Give this medication for 2 consecutive days, then stop the treatment for 3 days. If necessary, repeat the treatment until all dangers of infection are gone.
Treatment - When symptoms of coccidiosis are first observed, mix 30 mL of Sulfaquinoxaline-S with 20 L of drinking water and give to birds for 2 consecutive days; then, for the next 3 days give water without medication. Continue this treatment for 2 days out of 5 days and repeat until all symptoms of the disease have disappeared. During the treatment, medicated water should be the only source of drinking water.
For Automatic Proportioner
Set the apparatus to distribute 30 mL stock solution per 4 L of drinking water (1 oz/gallon U.S.). Prepare stock solution by adding 1 L of Sulfaquinoxaline-S to 4 L of water. This will medicate approximately 666 L of drinking water.

Treated birds must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 4 days after the latest treatment.
