READ THE LABEL BEFORE USING

Spectrum is a concentrated neutral quaternary sanitizer providing effective bacteriological control in a wide variety of applications. Spectrum is non-corrosive to aluminum, stainless steel, and copper surfaces.

Directions For Use

Food Processing Areas

Apply 220 mL/100 L (200 ppm of active quaternary) solution by the most applicable method, i.e. soak, spray, sponge, mop etc. No final potable water rinse is required.

Meat Packing Areas

Use a 220 mL/100 L solution to provide 200 ppm active quaternary. No final rinse is necessary at this concentration.

Egg Sanitizing

Use 220 mL/100 L solution to provide 200 ppm active quaternary. No final rinse is necessary at this concentration. NOTE: Eggs to be immediately broken for processing egg products in the plant should be subjected to a thorough potable water rinse following treatment. Eggs treated with the product at a higher concentration should also be potable water rinsed.

Final Rinse (3rd Sink) Or Bar Glass Sanitizing

Rinse/soak in a 220 mL/100 L solution of Spectrum. No final rinse required.

Note

If a use solution containing higher than 200 ppm active quaternary is employed, all sanitized surfaces must be rinsed well with potable water as a final step.

General Sanitization Of Environmental Surfaces

Clean surface with a JohnsonDiversey cleaner of your choice. Rinse thoroughly with water. Sanitize with a solution containing 625 mL Spectrum/100 L water.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Avoid contamination of food during use or storage.

DANGER - Corrosive to the eyes. Avoid contact with undiluted product.

First Aid Instructions

For contact with eyes, flush with running water for at least 10 minutes and obtain prompt medical attention. For contact of concentrate with skin, flush with running water for 5 minutes. If swallowed do not induce vomiting. Call physician or poison control center immediately. Take container, label or product name and Pest Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.

Notice To User

This pest control product is to be used only in accordance with the directions on the label. It is an offence under the Pest Control Products Act to use this product in a way that is inconsistent with the directions on the label. The user assumes the risk to persons or property that arises from any such use of this product.

DO NOT STORE IN FOOD PROCESSING OR STORAGE AREAS.

Disposal

1. Triple- or pressure-rinse the empty container. Add the rinsings to the spray mixture in the tank. 2. Follow provincial instruction for any required additional cleaning of the container prior to its disposal. 3. Make the empty container unsuitable for further use. 4. Dispose of the container in accordance with provincial requirements. 5. For information on disposal of unused, unwanted product, contact the manufacturer or the provincial regulatory agency. Contact the manufacturer and the provincial regulatory agency in case of a spill, and for clean-up of spills.
