Description
Anti-infective. Oral solution for pig scours.
Spectam Scour-Halt Indications
For the treatment of bacterial enteritis (white scours) associated with Escherichia coli in pigs under 4 weeks of age.
Spectam Scour-Halt Dosage And Administration
Pigs Under 4.5 Kg
1 mL (1 pump) twice daily.Pigs Over 4.5 Kg
2 mL (2 pumps) twice daily.Unscrew the plunger and then press it a few times to prime the pump and the clear plastic tube with medication. To administer Spectam Scour-Halt, insert the plastic tube in the pig’s mouth and press the plunger to obtain the desired dose. Each full depression of the plunger delivers 1 mL of solution. Treatment may be continued twice daily for 3 to 5 days. If pigs do not improve within 48 hours, diagnosis should be revised.
Spectam Scour-Halt Caution
This product is intended for use only in pigs under 4 weeks of age or weighing less than 6.8 kg.
Storage Conditions
Store between 15°C and 25°C.
