Sentry 4/Somnugen Indications
Recommended for the vaccination of healthy, susceptible dairy and beef cattle of all ages, including pregnant cattle and veal calves, as an aid in the reduction of diseases caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus, and bovine viral diarrhea (BVD) type 1 virus, parainfluenza3 (PI3) virus, and bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV), and as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by Haemophilus somnus. Pregnant cattle may be vaccinated at any stage of gestation, and lactating dairy cattle may be vaccinated with no post-vaccination milk discard required.Dosage
Using aseptic technique, inject 5 mL intramuscularly. Repeat in 14 to 28 days. Calves vaccinated before 6 months of age should be revaccinated at 6 months or at weaning. Ideally, calves should receive the first dose 2 to 4 weeks before weaning with a booster dose at weaning. A 5 mL booster dose is recommended annually or prior to time of stress or exposure.Precautions
Store in dark at 2-7°C. Avoid freezing. Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. Antidote: Epinephrine.Preservatives
