Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. It is good practice to apply product in an open, well-ventilated area and to wash hands after each use. Shake the container well before using. Hold the container upright during use. Spray the animal from a distance of 8-12 inches, moving the dispenser rapidly across the animal's coat, including the legs and under the body. Fluff the hair as you spray so that the spray reaches the fleas and ticks on the skin. DO NOT SATURATE. Reapply every week as needed.

Scratchex Flea and Tick Spray Caution

Harmful if swallowed. Avoid breathing vapors. Do not spray in eyes, face or on genitalia. Do not use on dogs or cats under 12 weeks of age. Avoid contact with the skin or clothing. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, medicated, pregnant or nursing animals. Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.

First Aid

If Inhaled

Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

If On Skin Or Clothing

Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

If In Eyes

Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

If Swallowed

Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Physical Or Chemical Hazards
